too much booty (in da pants)!
my thoughts on last night's "so you think you can dance", recorded more-or-less as it happened.
the moral of the story? ass-shaking mormon apparent-virgins rule.

benji & donyelle, hip-hop: so glad they're partners. i LOVE him and i like her a lot. they kicked ass! he should shake his ass like that constantly, omg. benji was totes pretty fly for a white guy! i didn't think he had that in him! and nigel called him "sunshine"! heeeee and aw.
ivan & allison, salsa: she was awesome. he didn't have much to do there. that little robotic arm thing near the end was wicked cool.
jason & aleksandra, contemporary: just ok for me. he was better than she was by a lot, i thought.
jamyz & jessica, disco: meh. he's cute, tho.
erin & stanislav, paso doble: he was awesome. she was kind of awkward.
joy & dmitry, hip-hop: cool routine, but dan was right -- they regurgitated the choreography. dmitry's hot!
ryan & heidi, viennese waltz: she's so fucking cute! it was really pretty, but nothing special. loved the music.
ben & ashlee, 80's disco: just ok. better when they were dancing separately, i thought.
travis & martha, broadway: clearly i loved this. i can't take my eyes off travis when he dances -- i didn't even see her. he's my pick to win, although benji has my heart. i thought he captured the feel of the routine PERFECTLY. video here!
musa & natalie, mambo: it was ok. she's fucking hottttt. i wanted her partnered with trav, dammit!
bottom three couples: ivan & allison, joy & dmitry, ben & ashlee

isn't he awesome? he's a total spaz, too, and really goofy and sweet off-stage. he's a mormon and apparently a virgin (!) since he said in the pre-dance clip he's not used to getting close to girls like that -- at least not until he's married. hee. aw. i'm trying to find a better video that includes the other stuff.
